We understand that you place your trust in us. We therefore consider it our responsibility to protect your privacy. Personal data we process

We do our utmost to protect your data. D&B The Facility Group processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide it to us yourself.

Below you will find an overview of the personal data we process:

  • First and last name

  • Phone number

  • Email address

  • IP address (anonymized)

  • Location data (anonymized)

  • Information about your activities on our website (anonymized)

  • Internet browser and device type (anonymized)

  • Other personal data you actively provide, such as a company name, resume, or place of residence.

 

Special and/or sensitive personal data we process

ur website and/or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors under the age of 16, unless they have permission from a parent or guardian. However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is older than 16. We therefore encourage parents to be involved in their children's online activities to prevent data about children being collected without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal data about a minor without this consent, please contact us, and we will delete this information.

For what purpose and on what basis do we process personal data?

D&B The Facility Group processes your personal data for the following purposes:

  • To be able to call or email you if this is necessary to provide our services;

  • To be able to call or email you if this is necessary to respond to a contact request or job application;

  • To send the newsletters and mailings for which you have subscribed;

  • To analyze website behavior to optimize the website.

D&B The Facility Group does not make decisions based on automated processing (algorithms) that could have adverse consequences for you.

How long we retain personal data

D&B The Facility Group retains your personal data no longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected. The retention period depends on the purpose for which we obtained or collected the data and any legal obligations. Sharing personal data with third parties

D&B The Facility Group does not sell your data to third parties and only provides it if necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. We have data processing agreements in place with companies that process your data on our behalf to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. In some cases, the information may be shared internally. Our employees are obligated to respect the confidentiality of your data. D&B has established an internal policy for this purpose, which employees must strictly adhere to. D&B The Facility Group remains responsible for these processing operations.

Suppliers

We use various suppliers with whom we have strict agreements through a data processing agreement.

Google Analytics

We have accepted Google's data processing amendment, which established an agreement with Google regarding data processing. The data we collect in Google Analytics is anonymized and encrypted. Google automatically anonymizes the last 3 digits of your IP address; we have increased this number to the last 8. This ensures that your data is secure and anonymous. "Data sharing" with Google is disabled, preventing Google from using your data for other Google services. Finally, we do not use Analytics cookies in conjunction with other Google services.

How we protect personal data

D&B The Facility Group takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure, and unauthorized modification. If you believe your data is not properly secured or if there are indications of misuse, please contact us.

We have taken the following measures to protect your personal data:

  • We only send your data via secure internet connections (TLS, formerly SSL). You can see this by the "https" and padlock icon in the address bar.

  • Our CMS and plugins are regularly updated to ensure system security.

  • All D&B The Facility Group employees who have access to personal data are trained to handle your data with care.

Accessing, Correcting, or Deleting Data

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You also have the right to withdraw your consent to the data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by D&B The Facility Group, and you have the right to data portability. Social sharing option

Our website includes buttons to share news items on social networks like Facebook, Twitter, Google+, YouTube, and LinkedIn. These buttons work using pieces of code originating from Facebook, Twitter, Google, and LinkedIn, respectively. This code places cookies. We have no control over this. Newsletter

We periodically send a digital newsletter by email to our customers and interested parties. We only send this newsletter to people who have indicated that they wish to receive it. Each newsletter includes an unsubscribe link so that the recipient can unsubscribe immediately. We use the subscriber database solely for sending the mailing.
