Winning
the war for
Talent
Our vision
A good salary and favorable benefits alone aren't enough these days. Not only because there's always an employer with deeper pockets who'll lure your employees in, but also because the new generations place much more value on atmosphere, attention, sustainability, and flexibility. And there's still much to be gained in these areas.

War Tactics
Defining a sound strategy in the now fully-fledged War for Talent is crucial. It can help to establish vision and focus on the following four areas: attention, customization, development, and culture.

It all starts with
attention
Really listen to your people. What motivates them? What excites them? What do they need? The tables have turned, and employers need to shift gears. We stop simply telling them what we expect from "our" people. And we start listening. This prevents underlying dissatisfaction and provides valuable information to anticipate and facilitate.
You get what you deserve
Isn't it strange that job postings still mention what we offer? A company car, a mobile phone, a work-from-home allowance? And yet we have no idea whether these things are relevant to the talent being sought. D&B has been innovating in the field of flexible employment conditions for years. Admittedly, it's as complex as a Chinese puzzle, but the potential gains are more than worth it.

Offer
growth &
perspective
Standing still means going backward. This applies to both employers and employees. At D&B, we prioritize hiring our own people for senior positions. People who embody our DNA and live and breathe our culture. This way, we not only create loyal fans but also embed our core values throughout our organization, from top to bottom.
The D&B
Culture
Club
Unlike a "clubhouse," which aims to make employees feel at home, the Culture Club was created to take employees out of their home environment and immerse them in the D&B culture. At the end of the day, employees return home with a mindset that aligns with the core values. Lifelong friendships and an ambassadorship are forged here, a value that is simply incalculable.

Practice what you preach. In our case, that means building the D&B Culture Club. An internal initiative that regularly organizes the coolest activities for employees. This not only strengthens our close family bond, but it also instills our core values in new colleagues.
